The Bookmarks Workshop is one of our flagship events, designed to allow participants to create their own unique bookmarks that are not only practical but also personal and culturally significant. This workshop serves multiple purposes:

Course Content

Bookmarks Workshop
Workshop Details Date and Time: The Bookmarks Workshop is scheduled to take place on Saturday, October 14th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Participants are encouraged to arrive at least 15 minutes early to settle in and prepare for the start of the workshop promptly. Location: The workshop will be held at Clarence's Workshop, located at 123 Community Center Drive, in the main craft room. This venue is easily accessible by public transportation and has ample parking available for those who wish to drive. Duration of the Workshop: The total duration of the Bookmarks Workshop is 3 hours. This time frame includes a brief introduction, the main crafting session, and a wrap-up period where participants can share their creations and receive feedback. Workshop Capacity: To ensure a quality experience and individual attention, the workshop is limited to 20 participants. Early registration is recommended to secure a spot. Workshop Structure: The workshop is structured to maximize both learning and enjoyment. Here is a breakdown of the workshop agenda: Introduction (10:00 AM - 10:15 AM): Welcome and overview of the workshop goals. Introduction to the cultural significance of bookmark themes. Crafting Session (10:15 AM - 12:15 PM): Step-by-step guidance on creating bookmarks. Hands-on assistance from the workshop leader and volunteers. Opportunities to customize bookmarks with various materials and cultural elements. Break and Informal Discussion (12:15 PM - 12:30 PM): A short break with refreshments provided. Casual discussion amongst participants about their creations and the stories behind them. Show and Tell (12:30 PM - 12:50 PM): Participants share their finished bookmarks and the inspiration behind their designs. Feedback from the workshop leader and peers. Wrap-Up and Feedback (12:50 PM - 1:00 PM): Closing remarks. Distribution of feedback forms to gather participants' experiences and suggestions for future workshops.
